El pasado sábado 4 de julio, miles de personas de todo el mundo se congregaron en Madrid, para celebrar y desfilar sin prejuicios su orientación sexual y su identidad sexual.
Partiendo desde la emblemática Puerta de Alcalá, las carrozas decoradas con los estilos más diversos, se abrían paso entre la multitud a golpe de música (en su mayoría techno y dance). Hombres y mujeres, escasamente vestidos, bailaban y lanzaban flyers, caramelos, abanicos o condones, desde la cima de sus vehículos, contagiando con su alegría a todos los presentes.
Baile, canto, risas, alcohol, besos, abrazos…Madrid se convirtió durante todo un día y una noche en la ciudad reina de la diversidad y la diversión.
On Saturday, July 4th, thousands of people from all over the world congregated in Spain’s capital city, Madrid, to celebrate their sexual orientation and gender identity.
Emerging from Puerta de Alcalá, the retinues of decorated trucks, with blaring music (most of it dance or techno) and full of young men and women scantly dressed, made their way across the crowded streets of cheering crowd.
People singing, dancing, laughing, drinking, kissing, hugging… all of them celebrating for a single day (and night), the gift of diversity.
Nota/Note:
Como lado negativo, Madrid era intransitable, tanto a pie como en coche, metro...etc.
On the negative side, it was impossible to navigate through Madrid, be it walking, by car, metro...etc.
